La Boom Concerts

Went especially for a batchata event featuring Frank Reyes and Louis Vargas and have nothing but great things to say. From the staff (all the bad comments about the coat ck security lady...turns out she was super nice to us 🤗), door man (special thanks to Giovanni who was really nice to us 🥰) music and performances...All #1!! Yes the performers took forever to get on stage and the drinks were so expensive but for us, non latino but batchata lovers coming from Canada, this was an event of a lifetime.

I purchased two tickets for the Alex Ubago presentation/concert. I got there at 9:45 pm and the concert was supposed to start at 10:00 pm. We were waiting outside in a huge line and they would not let anyone in. I called the club to complain, warning about writing a bad review and immediately they let everyone in. It was About 12:40 am and no concert. I had to call the Cops and report the situation as they were refusing to give us the money back. After placing the phone call, 5 minutes after, they started the show. This was a VERY disrespectful situation. The singer has nothing to do with anything. Event organizers, the club, they should learn how to treat their clients. I would NEVER go back to LA Boom. And the drinks $ 15 dollars each + taxes and tip = $ 20 , in a little plastic cup, ridiculous. I go out to have a good time, fun, not to stress myself. Awful.

Worst place I’ve ever been to. Went out with a group of 12 people for a birthday. Paid for a birthday package a week before and arrived the day of at 11:50 pm. Got to the location at 12 and never got served. After trying to get our bottles and speaking with multiple managers nothing was resolved. They then came at 3:20 am trying to serve our bottles and told us that they had run out of the bottles we asked for. The place closed at 4am so we asked for a refund. Even trying to get a refund was a problem. The staff in general from the bottle girls, management and security are extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Horrible experience. Horrible service. Unorganized & unprofessional. Would NEVER come back here again. Got here at 1150, came inside & reserved a birthday package a week before that cost about 1500$+ too never get a lick of liquor. Waiting 3 hours and some change, for bottle girl & management too come up to my group of 12 about 10 times to ask us what bottle we want & never accommodated us with even one for the wait. While the whole damn club is getting served left and right. On TOP of that we were super over crowded in a section, for them to come at 3 in the morning with 12 more people. They literally put these people on top of our heads. Not worth the time and damn sure not worth your money. Never have I experience such thing. Left sober as day & my friend couldn’t even enjoy her birthday celebration. DO BETTER for your customers. On top of that gave us a hard time to even try to get a refund, which I’m still waiting for it. Overall 0/10.

I went to see a artist perform. The establishment started the guest performer at 830 and as a Latino I'm used too a late start. I missed the entire show. Then they proceeded to rush them off stage and kicked everyone out, so that they could have a second show at 11. They kicked everyone out and told us to pay a second cover charge for the second half $20 extra pprs to get back in. Drinks are $$$. I do not recommend. Owners are greedy.
