Tahoe Blue Event Center Concerts 2024

The venue itself does not have parking. Parking available at Bally's. We parked for free at Harrah's. Short walk to the venue. Lines to get in the Reggae Music festival were crazy. The doors opened at 5pm and there was still a line after 6pm. The sound quality was good and the venue is pretty.

The venue is great! We went for the sold out Billy Strings concert at the new Tahoe Event Center. The sound is amazing and not a bad seat in the house. Line getting in the venue was fine for a large capacity arena. Plenty of options for food and drink, even a grab-and-go for cold beverages. This place is a win for the town of South Lake!

Absolutely beautiful venue and the acoustics were excellent. Unfortunately I do have a couple complaints which prevents me from giving it five stars and it would be something easy for them to fix. 1- For whatever reason, they decided to work with Ticketmaster which I don't need to explain the complaints of fees. This alone would have given them a one-star rating had the rest not been so good. If you want to avoid those fees, they do allow you to buy the tickets at their box office which reduces the fees to a minimum. He would be nice if they would let people know. 2- lines at the internal bars are ridiculously long. Maybe they just can't hire help? One person attending the bar is not enough. On a positive note, they exclusively serve Tahoe Blue Vodka which is an excellent vodka! If you have not tried it, you need to. 3- I am not sure who the nitwit was who ordered the seats with armrest drink holders. The holders are so shallow, you are guaranteed to knock over your drink. Three people in front of us spilled their drinks on themselves. They are more like indentations or shallow ashtrays, than drink holders. That was really a bad blunder! Be forewarned, they have a clear bag policy which I guess is the norm now in this day and age. Also note there is no parking at the actual facility but Lake Tahoe does offer free transportation, just make sure they are still running when you get out of the event. Parking at the nearby casinos are a rip off as they gouge their prices to park. Please do not support them. Aside from the three complaints above, the rest of the venue is absolutely fantastic.

The event Center has great potential. We were there for a Whiskey Bonanza tasting event. It was advertised and we bought tickets for food pairing and tasting. It was from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. and by 3:00 when we got there there were only three whiskey vendors left and meatballs and popcorn were left for food. There were also no commemorative glasses left for a whiskey tasting and we're handed plastic cups. It was advertised as having rifle shooting and ax throwing along with simulated kayaks etc. They were Nerf guns and Velcro axes neither of each worked properly to even make them fun. They were jumpy houses and The events seemed to be set up more for children than adults. We spent $150 on these tickets. I'm in the process of trying to get some of our money back. I would not attend this again. I came all the way from the Bay area to attend this event. Serious disappointment and waste of money.

Brand new venue but very disorganized!! No ushers or anyone to guide you to where you are supposed to be seated. We literally moved 3 times because it was so confusing. Other people said the same! The main floor expensive tickets were literally folding chairs!! And they stop serving alcohol and food 30 min before the end of the show but there is no mention of that at all!! We went for a stand up comedy show but some of the seats would have sucked if it was to see a music performer.
