Thirsty Horse Saloon Concerts

Had so much fun! Always wanted to go line dancing in a "real" Texas saloon, and I'd say it was quite an experience! Fun atmosphere. Everyone is just there to have a good time! Bartender was great and quick for as busy as she was! Went on a Friday night, and the live band was great! Would definitely visit again!

It was nice to have some space on the dance floor to dance when you wanted, and it felt safe there too!

Of all the country night clubs i have attended in our nation Thirsty Horse Saloon is hands down, without a doubt THE ABSOLUTE BEST, it is a lovely and wonderful place with it's staff and ownership being some of the finest folks on the planet, there is never two nights alike here, we all get along in a peaceful harmony and in the 4 years I've been calling it home away from home I've never once heard any gossip or negativity taking place here, it's not a place full of drunks and I've even met fine Christian folks here, I can only pray that there will be a Thirsty Horse Saloon in San Antonio for many generations to come and keep country dance alive and well in the great state of Texas and continue to carry on her greatest tradition, last but certainly not the least through her doors walk the finest ladies who are the best dancers on earth, So God Bless the Thirsty Horse Saloon and all the fine folks who follow her 🙏 May she live forever and ever

If you love to listen to live country music and dance on a pretty large dance floor, this is the place for you! They do have a $10 cover charge, not sure if that’s every day they’re open - I went on a Friday night at around 11pm. There was this bartender who was super sweet! They were pretty packed but the bartender had such amazing customer service - she definitely made me want to come back to see her for another drink! I highly recommend if you don’t mind the cover charge, it’s worth it for all that you get. The bathrooms are also really clean and spacious. 10/10 recommend and definitely will be coming back!

We got here just before 8 pm and they had dance lessons from 8-9. The woman that taught was very good. Her partner seemed indifferent and kept walking off the floor. The lesson was ok. The DJ played music until about 10 and then a band started. We didn’t stay for the band. The dance floor was very nice. The bartenders and all the staff we met were great too. Would definitely go back if we are in the area.
