Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek Concerts 2024

Saw the Foo Fighters and they were superb. The venue had plenty room for parking and many drink and food options. The show was sold out and held roughly 20,000 patrons. However, the sound engineering could improve for the lawn. There are about 6,000 seats and the lawn can occupy 13,000 patrons. The sound should be louder for us on the lawn. The screens should be twice as large for us on the lawn. Don’t get me wrong the sound and screens were great, but I want excellence from such a profitable business. That’s why they still get 4 stars. Oh, and parking was crazy. None of the signs matched where we were actually supposed to park. Cars were switching lanes over and over because MULTIPLE signs contradicted each other as we tried to organize ourselves to the correct lanes AS WELL as what the many parking attendants were signaling us to do. Now that gets 2 stars from me.

Parking was tight. But the team made it work. Thank you! Do not bring a purse larger than a sandwich bag lol. (It has to fit the little square card they hold,) funny thing, they had a sign at the entrance that said (bags must fit this) it was as big as a beach bag. They need to fix that. Bartender was sketch. Paid for a double. Got a watered down single neat. He didnt know I caught that. Sound was good. Security was pretty good. Concert was great!

This is a very nice venue! Much like many of the other Live Nation venues. Sounds are great, food and snack offerings are on point, and the venue staff is very friendly. Make sure that your seats are covered, and there's very little you'd be disappointed about. I'm sure the grass seats are also good, but keep aware of the weather within a week of your concert.

Just a few changes could make this venue so much more enjoyable. It’s well designed and comfortable, including the lawn. Food and drink are ok…what you’d expect from a live music venue. Yes, drinks are pricey. Lawn chairs were $20 each, twice as much as we normally pay for lawn chair rentals in Atlanta. The staff are all friendly, outgoing and helpful. Now for the downside: staffing levels are either inadequate or they’ve under-allocated staff in specific roles. In the 6+ hours we sat on the lawn, we never saw an attendant. There was nobody there to help fans. At every other venue, we encounter attendants, but not here. This isn’t a huge deal until something goes wrong (a fight, for example). Next, we parked in the General Parking area. When we got to our car after the show, again there were no attendants to direct traffic out of the lot. We sat in the parking lot watching cars not move for an hour. Just one attendant to help multiple rows of cars to merge would have significantly improved the exit time. Again, this is a nice venue with great staff. Fix a couple of things and they could also offer a great experience.

First time at this venue and it's bigger than I expected. It was a sold out show and didn't take long to get into the venue. The venue was clean and the workers were very friendly. The only issue would be the traffic while leaving the parking lot after the show especially since there's multiple lots. They should have more workers help monitor and clear out the sections so things go quicker. It took 2 hours to leave the lot, which I guess is expected, for venues like these. I think it could be worked on. Other than that, it was a great night.
