HK Hall Concerts 2024

I went for the big apple brunch and it was the first time I went to a brunch like this. It was different but not in a bad way. Music was good and the DJ played a variety of music. Food however was not good. I got the chicken and waffles which arrived cold. The chicken had zero taste. Took a while just to get hot sauce to put on it. The best part of the chicken and waffles was the fruits on top sadly. They do give you complimentary guacamole and chips for the table which were good. The mimosas are good but don’t give you a buzz. I had about 5 glasses or more and didn’t feel a thing. Hookah is available for purchase. It was really crowded the day I went due to it being their one year anniversary having the event. Overall it was ok.

Ok, if I was to just based my review on the venue it gets 4 stars. The place is nice. The atmosphere was great, the DJ and hosts were popping and kept the tunes coming. They played old school music, dancehall music, afro music, hip hop music. Now my real issue what's the food. I should really give it a one-star. Everything looks great on the plate but the flavor was not there. For the price that we paid I'm very disappointed. I had the shrimp and grits and there was barely grits and hardly any flavor. One of my friends had the French toast and that was not good at all. Next the package was supposed to be unlimited Mimosa with an appetizer and the appetizer that I was mentioned was not the appetizer that was sent out. Overall I was just not satisfied with the food service. If you want a place to go for a vibe I would totally recommend the spot but if you're looking for a place for good food, not my first choice at all. Unless you get the chicken and waffles, that was the only thing that I actually tastes good and the fries.

HK Hall was where Air-Otic took place. Beautifully spacious, large venue, well lit and good security presence. Audio and light engineer was definitely on point this evening. The performance was captivating, shocking, Beautiful and so engaging all at once... they were so incredibly talented, it was a beautiful time. Be prepared to pay for mandatory coat check and bathroom attendee fees on top of everything else. When they say doors open at 7, they mean it... so dress warm. Drink tickets for the VIP packages only apply to house liquor so choose wisely or you will pay extra for the top shelf, more common labels... food was amazing 👏 and the performance was very sexy, artistic, provocative yet conservative and so wildly fun. Great for a ladies night out.. a birthday dinner... date night... loved it ❤

If I could leave lower rating I would. We attended a concert on Sunday. The organization to get in was the worst. They had not enough people to check id's and give bracelets for the bar. Checking coats was mandatory and cost 4 $ each. With this they delayed the concert 1 hour. After the concert was done, they decided to block all the exits and wouldn't let us out. When everyone was screaming, they said it's because of the coat. They let only 10 people at a time and didn't care if someone wanted to get out without having the coat simply because it was hot and very stuffy inside. My mother was upstairs on the balcony. After the concert was done ,she saw all the things that were happening and started to panic. She is epileptic. I was very scared she could have seizures. I went with my husband to the security on the other door, told them about this, asked to get up to her, they wouldn't let me. We spoke to two different security, no one let us go to her. This place should be accountable for things like that. They are so lucky my mother was fine, because I was talking to her on the phone all the time trying to calm her down. This is ridiculous to hold people down like this because of a coat. Many people wanted just to get out. Everyone started screaming and pushing against each other. It was soo crazy. If anyone panicked and started running, this would not be good situation. I will never come to this place ever again. The venue is ok, but security was the worst!!!

The venue is nice. Friend and I went to see the Airotic soiree which was a great show (could've been longer as it was 1 hr instead of the advertised 2 hrs). The extremely small tapas/desserts were great since they were created from a celebrity chef but for the price and size-just not worth it. Neither were the overpriced drinks.
