Ritz Theatre & Performing Arts Center Concerts 2024

I have to say that for a big venue the Ritz was very organized and the security was on the ball. Usually, when we go to big venues and pay big bucks to see an artist, you have ppl that paid for cheap tickets and wind up sitting by you or you can't see the performance because ppl from other sections get in the way. The security officer that was working the Aisle by us kept everyone in their place and did his job well. One of the best experiences I have had at a venue. I liked the place, I thought it was elegant and fancy. I'm sure it would be great if the event was a play. However, I watched a concert and it was not the best experience. Most people get up to record the show so you have to get up to see the show too. There isn't too much space to stand or move around because of the fixed chairs. I guess that doesn't really matter if you're watching your favorite artist but keep that in mind. Overall, good place, just not for a concert.

Can't believe it's still open for business. It was very clean. Only downside is that the seats are tight and a little uncomfortable. Keep in mind this place has been here since the beginning of time. I'm still stuck on how well maintained it was. I had a great time

I went here Saturday June 24th, 2023 with a party of 3. I thought the theater was nice when we got there. Seemed clean, and the staff appeared professional and friendly. The armrests of the seats were sticky as if they had removed a sticker off but that wasn't too bad. The worst part was that the concert was supposed to start at 6:30pm, but they actually started it closer to 8:30pm. It was ridiculous that we had to wait 2 hours, especially because while we were just sitting there waiting they kept flashing the stage lights in our faces, it was so frustrating and I got a headache. The main performance didn't start until around 9:30pm. By 10:30 my group and I were exhausted and we left before the concert ended. Overall, would not recommend this place, and I would not go back there unless they guaranteed the performance would start on time. I read another review with a similar experience, so it appears they tend to start very late. The problem itself is not that the performance started at 8 or 9 or whenever, but the fact that the start time was 2 hours later than it was supposed to be. There was no warning whatsoever from the staff about the waiting, and no apology for making us wait.
