Koka Booth Amphitheatre Concerts 2024

We went here for the Chinese Lantern Festival and it was truly a one of a kind experience. The lanterns were so elaborate and beautiful, the kids and I just loved it. It was very busy, so it was a bit hard to stop and enjoy the lanterns. On the main strip you are walking on a sidewalk and there are people walking both ways. When you stop, everyone behind you has to stop, so in order to not be rude, you just have to keep walking. Other than that it was amazing and worth the drive from Charlotte.

Amazing festival! The lights and performers were super. The parking was very well organized. The amphitheater itself doesn't provide the elevation to be able to see over those in front of you. I suggest taking your time on the long lantern path on the way in. We were in a crowd and moved too quickly through there, so we came back to see it better but once you come in through it you can't go back in there. I loved seeing the kids reacting to the scenes and playing! Super kid friendly.

This is our 3rd rice visiting the Koka Booth Amphitheater for the lantern festival and it has been so much fun each time! It is a great place to take the whole family(we took 5 kids) and everyone has a great time. The displays are absolutely stunning and they change things up every year which is awesome. There is so much to the place and it is such a fun experience. Highly recommend and we will definitely be visiting again next year!!

The light festival was awesome. They have beautiful lanterns everywhere and kids play activities. My little ones enjoyed the colorful swings and jumping lights. The show was nice. The place was crowded. Most of the security is outside or at the door only, you won’t find any security inside and also there isn’t a map which shows/guide you about the path. The festival wont allow you to carry any purse or a big bag not even water bottles. They stopped us for this things at the door, however for some people they allowed to take water bottles 😠. Initially I thought it is good thing to not allow big bags however I feel intention is different. They are selling water bottle for $4. Overall the experience was nice.

💞The Chinese Lantern Festival at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, North Carolina was absolutely stunning!!! Despite the cold temperature, it was a simply lovely evening!! The intricate details of the Chinese Lanterns and lights were nothing short of amazing!! Well worth the time and money to experience this with my sisters!! I'm hoping we can make this an annual girlz outing!! 💞 Please everyone, go see this display for yourselves! The pictures truly do not do it justice! To be there in person is an outstanding visual treatment! They even had wonderful on-stage performances, hot chocolate booths, food trucks, and other vendors! You won't be disappointed with this fascinating creative exhibit!
