The Great Hall Concerts 2024-2025

Great improvements in the accessibility process compared to my last visit in Feb 2020. Could do with some clear signage to identify accessibility queue, we also arranged accessibility info months in advanced and had email proof but the list at the door wasnt updated so delayed slightly going in. They have designated accessible toilets and a bar now which is great. Last little bug bear is if you want to go to merch the only way is to climb 2 flights of stairs which is OK in my case but alot of others would miss out. Again, much improved from my previous visit but still a ways to go :) seats are alot more comfy this time around!

The bar is weird they only do cans of drink but then they pour it into a cup. I would rather they just gave me the can. Apart from that I think it’s a lovely venue. They don’t oversell the tickets either so you feel safe and not like you’re gonna be squashed. Saw The Hives and Bombay Bicycle Club here both were so good.

A good venue for live music. I'm not a student but it felt welcoming to all. The sound mixing/quality was a bit all over the place to begin with but improved through the gig. A good drinks selection. Friendly staff. The toilets were nice but were unisex, which, although positive for many, meant I had to queue to use the loo, which is not usually the case with a gents.

A little bit of a pain to get too but well worth. Excellent venue with good acoustics. No crush at the bars which were reasonably priced compared to somewhere like the Motorpoint or St. David's Hall.

Great place for gigs! Useful to have carpark on site, though it's a bit pricey!
