National Concert Hall, Taipei, is one of the most magnificent and imposing concert venues that I've been to. I had the pleasure of attending a recital by the Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Saab, and it was an exhilarating ride. The concert hall invites the best of the musicians and bands from across the globe. The building is marvellous and gives you the feeling of being in the royal halls of the Forbidden City.
