Takamatsu Olive Hall Concerts 2025-2026

Was here in May for Kobushi Factory lives. Staff was friendly. Even with my limited Japanese language skills, I had no trouble at all. Small venue that makes it easy to feel close to the stage.

About 10 years ago, I attended a live performance of an artist I liked at the time. I was able to feel the artists up close in a very small live house. I was able to see it from about the 3rd row from the front and was so close to it that I was in awe. It was also great to be able to sing my favorite songs together. I cried a lot during that song. The lyrics resonated deep in my heart. Of course the tracks were amazing and I thought he was the only DJ out there. After that, the DJ left the band for some reason and went their separate ways, and I feel sad when I think that I will never see them perform at this venue. I feel sad when I think that I will never stand on stage again.

The hall is small but easy to see. There are lockers and toilets on the 3rd floor. There seems to be a cloakroom as well. You had to exchange your drink at the entrance, but apparently you could go after the show.

I visited on a live tour. Although I had to go up and down the stairs, I was able to exit relatively smoothly. The ceiling is high for a live house of this size, giving it an open feel.

It was a very nice live house, spacious both vertically and horizontally, making it easy to see the artists.
