Freiheitshalle Concerts 2024

Was here for an evening of Indian religious festival and cultural program. Car parking wise, there is adequate paid parking spots under the flyover adjacent to this place. So no issues there. On that day, the room after the entrance was converted into a snack and dinner buffet section. The main hall can be accessed through a gangway. The main hall is huge and can easily accommodate 700-800 people. While at first glance its towering roof and bare brick-layered walls might make you think otherwise, but be assured of its great acoustics.

Cool location, casual, and really brings out the old architecture. There are multiple bars in the venue to have a drink while listening to the artist, and for a still fair price.

What an amazing venue , the sound system is superb. The staff were all great and the food provided was lovely.

What's nice about Freiheitshalle is the red old factory building. The stage, light and sound equipment, is undoubtedly suitable for high-class live events. The big downside in my opinion is the bar and the options therein: beer is overpriced (4 EUR for a small serving 0,33l), all other drinks are reasonably priced. By "all other drinks" I mean the offer of whole Gin bottles because it's not possible to get only 1 or 2 glasses of gin & tonic or any of that sort. So, no GTs, highballs or long drinks makes Flo wear a sad face :( If the music makes up for it, you're good to go!

It is a really nice location with good sound. It is also a good size to provide intimacy but still fit s lot of people. The bars are also easily accessible throughout the venue with three overall. I need to decrease a star though as the ventilation can be quite poor and the only solution seems to be opening the doors once the concert is already underway.
