Martinskirche Müllheim Concerts 2024-2025

The secularized church dates back to the 14th century with its tower, but underneath there was a Roman villa rustica with remains of the hypocaust heating system, which provided cozy warmth in winter. You can visit it inside using the key from the tourist information office opposite, but it is currently only open in the morning or during a cultural event such as a concert and exhibition.

Various cultural events take place here. Today we attended an event with mostly young singers. It wasn't always perfect but it was beautiful.

You have to see this church from the inside. Very nice. Musical performances take place there, gospel and chamber music. Buy tickets in advance. The space around it invites you to linger and relax. The Kürschner bakery is right next door for delicious cakes and homemade ice cream 😋

For a church it looks very nice from the inside. Bright, simple and not pretentious
