Theater Gießen Concerts

This theater was a big surprise for me. Firstly, they commissioned a creation from Yi-Chun Liu. Secondly, the architecture is a beautiful example of German Art Nouveau style. The theater is a 15-minute walk from the rail station (in connection with Frankfurt) and you pass the pleasant pedestrian area before arriving at the park surrounding the building. I regret not having spent a night in Giessen.

Beautiful Jugendstil/ Art Deco building with a great intimate old world atmosphere. We went for the New Year concert and had a wonderful time. The conductor had great stage presence and introduced the program in an entertaining and informative way with great energy from the performers. We enjoyed a brilliant evening.

Everyone was so friendly ! I was there for die Seriale festival and I don't speak German. And everyone was so kind and they speak English no problem. They are amazing! Thank you! 😊

The building looks really nice from outside. Worth a visit
