Deutschordensmuseum Concerts

The dollhouse collection from the 1800 and 1900s was a highlight for me. Overall very nice collections in an interesting, historic castle.

The few authetic rooms in 2 floor are nice. The museum shows the story of the city and there is an exchibition of history of German orders. For a none german speaker the museum is less attractive as only few tables are in English.

A very cool and multi-faceted museum that has something for everyone. The building itself was my favorite part with 2 fantastically carved Renaissance spiral staircases and a complete baroque palatial wing with original inventory. The exhibits documenting the Teutonic Knights are excellent and there are a lot of things for children as well.

Lovely castle and museum with a great park. The building itself and the museum are very nice and interesting too. We were invited to a wedding here and the place had beautiful rooms to rent and celebrate in. The courtyard outside the museum is very nice too and very private.

We took a walk this day, and found this beautiful place to visit. Quite interesting and worth the time. We enjoyed the afternoon visit and then enjoyed our return walk.
