Fort Garry Hotel Concert Hall Concerts 2024

The Fort Garry is a beautiful, and iconic landmark in downtown Winnipeg. It's located near a train station and bus routes, and is an easy place to find coming in on the trans-Canada from the west. The rooms are small, and the lack of ventilation in the bathrooms makes for a wet and humid bedroom with damp sheets and blankets, forcing you to the turn on the A/C. Our bedroom window faced into other peoples' bedroom windows, which was pretty awkward. The staff were excellent however, and I recommend valet parking to save yourself the hassle of parking downtown.

Been a regular guest for several years (couple times per month) with work - never disappoints. Service is always outstanding, the vibe is cozy (restored, early 1900s) and proximity to literally everything is... perfect. Not only do I come for work, but it's a go-to for leisure. Highly recommended!

Great romantic night. We stayed for a night with my husband for his 30th birthday. We were aware there was a wedding and a Bachata contest going on at the moment, as a Comedy night the same night; and never did it felt overcrowded or intrusive between all the people at the Hotel. The rooms were beautiful, with high ceilings and incredibly comfortable beds. We had dinner at The Keg (3-4 min walk) and the Comedy Night at Yuk Yuk. Unfortunately for me I got sick and couldn't move much on the day of our check out. I texted the number given in the card in each room and asked if wheelchairs where available; it was sent to me just on time for our check out. Thank you Samian. Overall, this has been the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed. Would recommend 10/10.

It's okay. Not too amazing. Hallways can be creepy. Elevators are tiny. Basic rooms DO NOT have fridge or microwave. The breakfast at the brasserie is neat though. Shout out to Elizabeth there for being a wonderful staff!
