Heilige Magdalenakerk Concerts 2025-2026

One of the weirdest yet the nicest thing I saw in Brugges. From outside it appears as a normal church but inside... - artistic installations - a wonderful swing - a sand pool Outside there is a statue called "the homeless Jesus". I think that this is not a church anymore but more like an event venue. Absolutely recommended.

Some people call this the crazy church. It's less of a house of worship and more of an art/architecture project now. The interior changes often, depending on the exhibition that is going on. It's really interesting inside. They have a swinging chair dangling from the ceiling.

Very nice concert in a beautiful area with all those candles around you ! Fantastic !

Breathtaking…the statue of Christ laying on a bench in the front of the church, the church itself, everything is history, beauty, faith, an old, not renovated gem…i was overwhelmed..

Surprisingly, there is a bar inside this church. It’s unbelievable for the Latin catholic standards. At the time we visited it was empty. No people. Silence and some music.
