Sidney Myer Music Bowl Concerts 2024-2025

5 stars for the bands, but the venue isn't the best for rock concerts. Or maybe more so, the management is not the best. Seats in the bowl are comfy with lots of leg room. Everyone stands up, though, as soon as the band starts, so you'll rarely get to sit. The issue here is not having to stand, but that the stairs aren't kept cleared, so if you have an aisle seat, your view ends up blocked by people coming down and staying on the steps. Sound at a recent concert was a bit distorted at times, which is odd considering the shell is designed to be acoustically correct.

Great venue. Flew in from Sydney, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but we all had an amazing time. Views from the lawn were really great, and the crowd was nice and friendly. I'll be back!

Beautiful venue. We chose lawn tickets, the best position is slightly elevated up the hill. Bring a blanket, enjoy the food truck delights and the city backdrop under the night sky🌙 the only feedback I would day is the projector screens are quite small and the sound isn't that loud so not sure how this would impact the folks right up the back. Drinks were served quite quickly. We parked about 800m from event (near the herbarium).

A well laid out outdoor venue. A great place to hold the Christmas carols. Depending on the weather, I would suggest purchasing tickets in the first 15 rows to avoid getting rained on. Otherwise a great view from any seat or on the lawn.

I saw Bloc Party and Interpol here, photos were taken in Stalls S6. I should first say that I had an excellent time, the sound was great where I was, as well as a decent view of the stage and great energy from the bands. Giving 3 stars because: - My friends up on the lawn had a completely different experience, I don't think the acoustics were as good there and they thought energy was lacking - Everyone in front stood up so I couldn't really use my seat for sitting if I wanted to see the band This is probably not the best venue for rock acts, probably more suitable for MSO and more chill acts where everyone sits down and enjoys the tunes.
