Born in São Bento do Una, Pernambuco, Alceu Valença is a Brazilian singer/songwriter blending northeastern roots with MPB grooves. Known for dynamic performances, he wrote "Plano Piloto" with Luiz Gonzaga and collaborated with artists like Maria Bethânia and Elba Ramalho. Hit songs include "Tropicana," "Na Primeira Manhã," and "Anunciação." His albums Vivo and Espelho Cristalino cemented his unique style, combining rock and northeastern traditions. He received the Sharp Prize for "Pétalas" and performed at notable festivals like Rock in Rio and Montreux Jazz Festival.
