Epica, symphonic metal pioneers, reinvent with their 9th album "Aspiral," inspired by Stanisław Szukalski's art. Known for storytelling, grandeur, and unique melodies, the band collaborates creatively to produce personal and adventurous music.
Ramkot, hailing from Ghent, Belgium, is known for their danceable rock music. Their debut album, "In Between Borderlines," showcases their energetic style. They’ve toured extensively, including opening for Metallica, and have performed at major festivals like Pinkpop and Sziget. Collaborating with Alain Johannes for their second album, they recorded at the famed Rancho De La Luna studio.
Pioneers of folk-metal, Finntroll, formed in Helsinki in 1997, blend death metal with Finnish folk. Known for albums like "Ur Jordens Djup," they incorporate joik chants. Debut "Midnattens Widunder" was released in 1999. "Jaktens Tid" hit Finnish charts in 2001. Despite founding member Teemu Raimoranta's death in 2003, they thrived with hits like "Nifelvind" and "Blodsvept." Lead vocalist Mathias Lillmåns joined in 2007, replacing Jan Jämsen, who continued as lyricist.
Swedish metalcore band Imminence blends classical strings and fierce Scandinavian metal. Known for unique sound and visuals, they're led by vocalist/violinist Eddie Berg.
