The Pineapple Thief

The Pineapple Thief, a progressive rock band formed in 1999 by Bruce Soord, blends contrasting elements: muscle and fragility, chaos and precision. With Gavin Harrison on drums since 2017, they crafted a timeless sound. The quartet includes bassist Jon Sykes and keyboardist Steve Kitch. Their album "It Leads To This," features Soord's introspective lyrics inspired by literature, delivered with a style akin to Nick Drake and Thom Yorke. Their popular single "The Frost" showcases their unique mix of rock urgency and delicate atmospherics.
