American Television is a melodic punk band from Washington DC known for combining melody and vitriol. Featured on Skatepark Punks, they draw fans of Against Me! and Bad Religion.
Founded in D.C. in 1990, The Pietasters led by Stephen Jackson gained fame with ska hits and toured with Bad Manners. Albums include "Oolooloo" and "Willis," with signings to Hellcat/Epitaph and Fueled by Ramen.
The Woggles, formed in 1987 in the garage rock revival scene, mix rock, surf, and R&B. Known for their live energy, they signed with Steven Van Zandt's Wicked Cool label, releasing hits like "Teen Dance Party" and "Rock and Roll Backlash."
The Kilograms blend punk, ska, and reggae, featuring Joe Gittleman (Mighty Mighty Bosstones), Michael McDermott (The Bouncing Souls, Joan Jett), Sammy Kay, Jay Duckworth, and Craig Gorsline.
