Roy McCurdy, renowned jazz drummer, is best known for his key role in Cannonball Adderley's Quintet (1965-75). He also played with Chuck and Gap Mangione, the Jazztet, Betty Carter, Sonny Rollins, and Bobby Timmons. Known for his tasteful, flexible style, McCurdy has remained active in the vibrant Los Angeles jazz scene.

Roberta will perform with legendary musicians Tamir Hendelman (piano), Chuck Berghofer (bass) and Roy McCurdy (drums)! All three musicians created on both of Gambarini's Grammy-nominated Albums - Easy To Love and So In Love.

Repertoire

Roberta is excited to share with her LA audience new arrangements of songs spanning from a wide repertoire that includes music from the Great American Songbook as well as tunes composed by some of her mentors such as Jimmy Heath, Hank Jones, Benny Carter and James Moody, along with compositions belonging to the musical tradition of Brazil, Cuba, Argentina and Italy.
