The Christianaires: An Award-Winning Gospel Quartet

The Christianaires are an award-winning gospel quartet that was formed in 1979 in Sontag, Mississippi, by brothers, Paul and the Late Tyrone Porter and their cousins Arnold and Ronald Brown (also brothers). Their style combined the bluesy traditional gospel quartet style with contemporary musical accompaniment and arrangements.

Revival and Mission

After much prayer and direction from God, Paul was led to revive, revamp, and rebrand his quartet group, so Paul Porter and The Christianaires are spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through song throughout the country.

Performance Highlights

On May 4, 2017, Paul Porter and The Christianaires performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, in addition to continuously performing at various music events throughout the United States.

Awards and Recognition

Paul Porter and The Christianaires were 2024 Official Nominees for the Stellar Awards Quartet of the Year, held in Las Vegas, NV.
