Known for her powerful voice and prolific songwriting, she won the 2021 American Traditions Vocal Competition Gold Medal. Her latest album, "How Love Begins," co-produced with Christian McBride, won Best Jazz Vocal Album at the 2024 GRAMMYs with all original compositions. She collaborates with husband Dan Pugach on the 2025 GRAMMY-winning "Bianca Reimagined" for which they wrote the nominated "Little Fears." Nicole supports pitbulls, mental health, and oceanic preservation.
