He gained fame in the mid-'90s with hits like "Wink" and "No Doubt About It," both topping the charts. His albums "No Doubt About It" and "You Gotta Love That" went platinum. McCoy worked with Charley Pride and collaborated on a big-band jazz album with Les Brown, Jr.
