Born in the Bronx, Richard Goode is a celebrated pianist known for Schubert and Beethoven sonatas, chamber music, and modern works. A founding member of Lincoln Center's Chamber Music Society, he studied under Rudolf Serkin and debuted solo at Carnegie Hall.
