Marcia Griffiths, born in Kingston, Jamaica, is a reggae icon known for her hit "Electric Boogie" and collaborations with Bob Marley. Her work spans ska, rocksteady, and dancehall, and she was a key member of the I-Threes. Griffiths' influence endures, with Grammy-winning collaborations like Toots & the Maytals’ "True Love" and numerous solo projects. The Jamaican government honored her with the Order of Distinction in 2014.
