Madball with Risk it! and Sheer Terror

Sheer Terror, a key player in NYC's hardcore scene, blended punk's bite with metal's intensity. Known for "Just Can't Hate Enough," they influenced '80s and '90s aggro-rock. Despite lineup changes, they re-formed for 2004 reunion gigs and released 2014's "Standing Up for Falling Down." They once featured a controversial Cure cover and collaborated with Prong's Tommy Victor. Now a five-piece, their journey includes major label challenges but loyal fanbase.

Madball, formed in 1988 in NYC by Freddy Cricien, blends hardcore punk and metal. Known for albums like "Look My Way," and hits like "For the Cause" co-produced with Tim Armstrong and featuring Ice-T, they’ve been a staple of the hardcore scene. Collaborations include Pain of Truth's "You & Me" in 2023.
