LineUp

Shelter, led by Ray Cappo, was a major '90s hardcore band that mixed energetic rock with Hare Krishna concepts. Born from Youth of Today, they released notable albums like "Perfection of Desire" and "Mantra," toured globally, and went through multiple line-up changes. Known for high-energy shows and collaborations with artists like Vic Dicara and J. Yeunger, Shelter tackled spiritual themes amidst a hardcore backdrop. They experienced mainstream flirtations, a serious van accident, and evolved styles before eventually fading from the U.S. scene while maintaining a following abroad.
Sid Simons, known for his folk-rock sound reminiscent of Big Thief and Elliott Smith, gained fame on NYC’s indie scene with his LP "Beneath The Brightest Smiles." Touring with Monobloc and Catcher and supporting Franz Ferdinand and Modern English, Simons blends Bowie and Oasis-style anthems.
Aaron Maine, known as Porches, blends angsty fantasy and confessional melodrama in "Shirt," a rock album with grungy guitars and varied influences, exploring suburban youth and adult realities.
