After touring with Johnnie Taylor, Buddy Miles, and more, he released "Wall of Soul" and "Simplify Your Vision" on Grooveyard and earned the Dallas Music Award. His "Tell the Truth" and "Trouble Is Good" albums showcase his slide guitar prowess. Collaborating with Eric Gales and Kenny Aronoff, Lopez remains a significant blues figure.
