Founding member of Nickel Creek and Punch Brothers, he won Grammys for collaborations with Yo-Yo Ma and Punch Brothers. He hosted NPR's Live from Here, and has worked with Brad Mehldau and Béla Fleck. His solo albums include Deceiver and Laysongs.
