H-Town, formed by Solomon "Shazam" Conner and Darryl "G.I." Jackson, gained fame with "Knockin' da Boots" in 1993. Known for soul-inspired R&B, they went platinum with "Fever for da Flavor." They faced tragedy with Dino Conner's passing but continued to release music, collaborating with Jodeci, Pretty Ricky, and Lil' Flip.
