Duman, formed in Turkey, blends grunge with Turkish folk and Arabic vocal styles. Known for hits like "Koprualti" and "Istanbul," their debut album made waves in 1999. Founders Kaan Tangoze and Ari Borakas started in a cover band before teaming with guitarist Batuhan Mutlugil. Their second album, featuring "Herseyi Yak," cemented their influence in Turkish rock. Duman is renowned for simple guitar lines and compelling live performances.
