Liverpool's Circa Waves, inspired by the Strokes and Arctic Monkeys, craft melodic indie rock. Hits like "T-Shirt Weather" from their debut, *Young Chasers*, reached U.K. Albums Chart's Top 10. Danish indie rock band Figurines, formed in mid-'90s Aalborg, is known for their lo-fi sound. Albums "Shake a Mountain" and "Skeleton" spawned hits like "Bright" and "The Wonder." They toured Europe, the US, and Canada, performing at the Roskilde and SXSW festivals. The band features Christian Hjelm, Andreas Toft, Claus Salling Johansen, and later, Mads Kjærgaard.
