Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, supported by banker Henry Lee Higginson, is a pillar of U.S. orchestral culture. Born in Seoul, pianist Seong-Jin Cho won the 17th Chopin Competition (2015), and the Hamamatsu (2009). Studied in Paris. Known for emotional depth, his albums topped charts and secured global acclaim.
