Body Count and ICE-T

Formed by Ice-T and Ernie C, Body Count gained fame with their 1991 track "Cop Killer." They won a Grammy in 2021 for "Bum-Rush," inspired by Slayer and Suicidal Tendencies.

Ice-T, born Tracy Marrow in Newark, rose to fame as a pioneering gangsta rapper and frontman of the metal band Body Count. Known for hits like "Colors" and "Cop Killer," he blends direct, incisive lyrics on social issues with humor. Ice-T co-founded Rhyme Syndicate and sold gold albums like *Power* and *O.G. Original Gangsta*. A talented actor, he starred in *New Jack City* and appears on *Law & Order: SVU*. He’s collaborated with Ice Cube, E-40, and Megadeth, while his band Body Count remains active.
