Ben Böhmer and Orbit

Ben Böhmer, from rural Germany, is an electronic music composer and producer known for introspective, emotional tracks like "Breathing" and "Begin Again." Settling in Berlin, his unique style embraces improvisation and experimentation, nurtured by pianist Christoph Busse. He makes music that connects with audiences, blending comfort, joy, and melancholy.

Boston-based Orbit, an indie rock band known for their punky, pop-inspired alternative rock, formed in 1994 with Jeff Robbins, Mark Brookner, and Paul Buckley. Their hit "Medicine" from the 1997 album "Libido Speedway" gained radio success. Bassist Wally Gagel, a notable producer, worked with artists like Juliana Hatfield and the Rolling Stones. Orbit’s later releases include the EP "Tonedeaf" and album "XLR8R."
