Boston’s Morphine pioneered “Low Rock” with baritone sax, 2-string slide bass & drums, blending blues, jazz & alt-rock. Hits and five albums gained critical acclaim. Frontman Mark Sandman died onstage in 1999. Original members now lead Vapors of Morphine, touring worldwide with a mix of Morphine classics, blues, and psychedelic jams.
