Formed in Jamaica, 1962, by Winston Hewitt and the Crooks brothers, the Pioneers excelled in harmony-style reggae. Hits include "Long Shot" and "Let Your Yeah Be Yeah." Known for evolving styles, they became UK-based in 1970.
