New Zealand's Th' Dudes, formed from Chillum in 1976, were a top Kiwi pop band in the late '70s. Known for hits like "Be Mine Tonight", they won fans with energetic gigs but split in 1980 after two albums. Dave Dobbyn went on to a successful solo career.
