Kentucky-born Sid Griffin, founder of iconic Americana band The Long Ryders, is a multi-instrumentalist, author, and broadcaster known for alt-bluegrass group The Coal Porters. His solo work, praised at Glastonbury, includes critically acclaimed albums like The Journey From Grape To Raisin. He won Italy’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the Long Ryders earned the UK’s Americana Trailblazers award.
