Canadian death metal pioneers Gorguts, formed in Sherbrooke in 1989, are known for their technical, experimental style on classics like *The Erosion of Sanity* and *Obscura*. Led by Luc Lemay, they've overcome lineup changes and a breakup. Their 2013 album *Colored Sands* earned a Juno nod.
