Debby Boone, born in Hackensack, NJ, is a pop singer and actress known for her 1977 hit "You Light Up My Life," which topped charts for ten weeks and earned her a Grammy. Daughter of Pat Boone and Shirley Foley, she performed with her sisters before going solo. She ventured into country and Christian music, winning two more Grammys and two GMA Dove Awards. Boone also enjoyed success in theater and authored children's books. She later embraced jazz, releasing "Swing This!" in 2013 and honored Rosemary Clooney with "Reflections of Rosemary."
