Austin-born Dangerous Toys, a Southern rock/metal band, debuted in 1989 with hits "Teas'n, Pleas'n" and "Scared," leading to gold status. Known for their raw sound, they toured with The Cult and L.A. Guns. Despite a strong start, grunge overshadowed them. Key albums include "Hellacious Acres" (1991) and "Pissed" (1994). They released a live album in 1999 and continue to perform sporadically.
