About Caspian

Formed in 2004 in Massachusetts, Caspian is a post-rock band known for their atmospheric sound. Popular albums include "The Four Trees" and "Tertia." Their 2012 album "Waking Season," produced by Matt Bayles, was praised as "Best Post-Rock Album of the Year" by Spin. Despite the 2013 loss of bassist Chris Friedrich, they released "Dust & Disquiet" in 2015. Collaborating with Will Yip, they released "On Circles" in 2020.
