Born in Magherafelt, Brendan Quinn left welding for music, joining Robin & the Breakaways at 19. He formed Bluebirds in 1975, toured widely, then created Kickin' Mule with Arty McGlynn. Known for country and rock & roll, Quinn's solo work includes "The Mystery" and "Small Town."
