Founded in 1992 by Niclas Frisk, Atomic Swing is a Swedish band known for their '70s-influenced pop and psychedelic style. Their debut single "Stone Me into the Groove" and album "A Car Crash in the Blue" were major hits in Sweden and Japan. The band won two Grammy Awards in 1994 and collaborated with Ronnie Spector. Despite early success, later albums like "Fluff" didn't perform as well commercially. Frisk later pursued production, collaborating with acts like the Cardigans.
