Os Mutantes, a Brazilian psychedelic band, was formed by the Baptista brothers and Rita Lee. Known for musical experimentation and Tropicalia ties, they backed Gilberto Gil. Their iconic albums include *Os Mutantes* and *Divina Comédia*. Arnaldo and Sérgio crafted a playful blend of pop, distortion, and studio tricks. They avoided reunion requests, even from Kurt Cobain, until reuniting in 2006.
